Simplified the entire site to make it more minimalist, using a component copied from Relume for displaying projects and journal entries.
In the previous session, I used Photoshop's generative fill to create an adorable above the fold dino image.
Over the last hour, I removed everything and made the whole site super minimalist. This is what it looks like now:
I used an event section UIĀ element from Relume, for the project and journal entry listings. It cost me $44 aud to upgrade just to copy that one element. I figured it was cheaper than the time it would've taken for me to create it from scratch.
Relume is a component library that lets you copy and paste full layouts and elements straight into Webflow, or Figma etc. It's great for rapid prototyping.
I'm hoping there will be less resistance to adding journal entries now that it looks cleaner and simpler. I have a few I need to add.
