Digitized Conveyer Belt Affinity Designer

Improved the design of the skittle conveyer belt, and digitized it to the correct dimensions in mm using affinity designer. The pivot point was a joy moment!

This is the first prototype to pattern piece that is ready to be cut from wood panels so far! Yayyyy!

Downloaded affinity designer, learned how to create page rulers in mm scale. Then created this vector version of the cardboard skittle conveyer belt thingy I made on saturday.

Lots of improvements made on the prototype:

• The top platform has just the thin wedge needed to move the skittle along, not the entire wedge, which cuts the space needed in half (semi-circle to quarter circle).
• The model is to scale (the wedge is 50mm width and height, and the skittle hole is 15mm which is slightly bigger than an actual skittle).

Now I can use my cricut machine to cut this out of thin wood panels! 🪵🪓

Being able to choose the pivot point and move the top piece around it was a joy moment with affinity designer 🥰
